FAQs
Why the bread clip?
<<error - content not available>> <<higher clearance level required>>
Will my product look the same as what is pictured?
The overall design and finish will match the product pictures, however as we work with wood each box will be unique as colourations even within the same tree can vary. Wood can also be subject to worm holes, speckling and other minor abnormalities as produced by nature herself.
Instead of uniformity, working with wood allows for you to have a unique item that highlights the beauty of the natural world.
Why don't you have more wood options?
We are limited by what is locally available. This means that sometimes we may be out of stock for certain timbers until we can successfully source adequate material.
How long will it take to restock sold out items?
As we are only a very small business (one main imaginator and creator & one chief assistant and websiter) production runs can be on the smaller side, and we do sometimes have supply limitations meaning certain timbers aren't always available.
If you are wanting a particular type of wood/velvet colour, please message us on Instagram or Facebook as we are more than happy to check through are supplies to see if we can make up your design of choice.
I'm in Tasmania, are there any options to buy in person?
There certainly are! We keep an updated list of any local markets and events where Crumbled & Co will be selling our products, which can be found here. We will also regularly post on our social media pages about upcoming events and we really love talking to people in perosn about our products!
How do I best look after my product?
To minimise any changes to your product over time (as wood is ever-changing), follow these care tips:
- Keep away from direct sunlight or heat to prevent warping
- If subject to any spills, please wipe off with a dry or damp cloth as soon as possible
- Don't clean with chemicals as they might not play nice with natural oils and waxes used to seal our products
What is the Crumb Bucket?
The Crumb Bucket is where we sell our 'crumbs'. Discounted items that while still beautiful and functional, didn't quite make the cut for our standard product range. There may at times also be one-off run items available that we aren't looking to produce on a reguar basis.
Crumb Bucket items will always be listed individually (and individually named after Tasmanian locations) so any pictures will relate to that specific item and highlight any of the minor defects/issues so you can be fully informed on what you are purchasing. Please note, there are no refunds for our Crumb Bucket items.
